PMA were commissioned by Armada Homes to develop a residential scheme of 12 new town houses in an excellent town centre location, close to the High Street and seafront. The brownfield site had a previous scheme for a development of flats proposed before our involvement. It was felt that the existing planning consent did not suitably reflect the need of the local housing market, or make the most of the site for our clients, so a fresh approach, full appraisal of design, layout and viability resulted in Armada Close.
Armada Close Northfield Road Ilfracombe
Armada Close is a quality, gated development of three storey town houses, reflecting the local vernacular, with a modern twist. The houses are designed to incorporate renewable technologies and passive design principles, creating vibrant homes.
The design created 12 comfortable town houses with the overall height and consequential impact on surrounding properties is less than the block of flats previously approved.
