Bespoke Development of New Rural Homes Underway

As an establish family firm of builders and developers who undertake bespoke development projects, they take care in design and construction to create high quality homes.

This site was one we obtained outline permission for the previous landowner but at that time, the details of the design were yet to be agreed. Working closely with the Bonds, we came up with a solution for 2 no. detached houses, both of which were the same size but with layouts flipped and slightly different use of materials externally to allow each to be individual part part of a harmonious whole.

The elevated nature of the site led us to the conclusion that reverse level living would work to make the most of the southerly views across the valley. So the upper floors consist of a large kitchen / dining / family room with vaulted ceiling. A raised deck provides outdoor space on the southern side with direct access to the garden to the north side from the rear of the space.

A double height entrance hall separates the kitchen / dining / family room from a generous master bedroom suite and TV Den / snug. A staircase leads down to 3 further double bedrooms on the ground floor as well as a utility room, plant room and integral double garage.

The project is currently underway on site with completion due in the second half of 2025, so look out for updates as the build progresses.
