Our 20th Anniversary!

Unbelievably it was 20 years ago this month that our practice took its first steps in the big wide world! Renting a small office in the centre of Barnstaple from Dyer Feesey Wickham Architects. A year later we took on our first member of staff and moved into a larger, adjoining office.

Then in 2008 we purchased the building that is our current studio, embarking on our first development project to convert it from an old ruin! (A theme we have revisited many times since)! Ten years after that we bought the adjoining building from DFW and set about restoring and renovating that premises to complement our own.

Our practice was formed around two fundamental design principles, imagination and buildability. Proving that the former informs that latter and vice versa. Alongside that, reliability and a willingness to go that extra mile has helped us build a strong client base and grow year on year. Those qualities have enabled us to deliver hundreds of successful building projects. Some very exciting, unique projects will soon be underway, so watch this space as we celebrate our milestone throughout the rest of this year.
